KIPS BAY
decorator showhouse

For Phillip Thomas' Kips Bay Decorator Show House debut, he took inspiration from his mother to create the "Lady Lair," a multifunctional haven for the modern, professional woman, which included areas for work, leisure, and rest. He employed a variety of finishes to increase the sense of space in the room, including a hand-polished pink plaster ceiling, and he collaborated with Andrew Tedesco Studios to create the custom graffiti on the upholstered walls.
